Zionist occupation authorities have issued a military decision to seize 64 dunums of Palestinian land in the Al-Bouira area, north of Hebron, to establish a residential and industrial colony.
This move targets a crucial area of the city and is seen as a precursor to displacing approximately 8,000 residents in order to control a total of around 800 dunams of land.
The decision, coming amidst increased settlement expansion, has sparked outcry from local officials and residents. Hebron Mayor Tayseer Abu Sneineh, along with members of the municipal council, called for an emergency meeting with affected individuals and relevant stakeholders to address the situation.
During the meeting, attendees expressed rejection and condemnation of the decision, highlighting the ongoing violations and attacks by colonialists against citizens. They emphasized the need for legal action and urged the international community and human rights organizations to intervene urgently to prevent further escalation in the region. (ILKHA)
