Economic confidence index which was 94.7 in December 2020 increased by 1.6% in January 2021
This increase in economic confidence index stemmed from the increases in consumer and services confidence indices.
Consumer confidence index increased by 4.0% and became 83.3, services confidence index increased by 2.9% and became 101.9 in January 2021 compared to the previous month.
On the other hand, real sector (manufacturing industry) confidence index decreased by 1.3% and became 109.0, retail trade confidence index decreased by 0.1% and became 108.5, construction confidence index decreased by 5.2% and became 84.2 in January 2021. (İLKHA)
