Istanbul International Airport surpassed London Heathrow and Paris Charles de Gaulle airports, according to a report by the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL).
The report stated that Istanbul Airport witnessed an average of 1,229 daily flights in the mentioned period, while London Heathrow Airport witnessed 1,104 daily flights, ranking second in Europe.
