Türkiye’s industrial production rises 8.3% annually in June

Türkiye’s industrial production grew by 8.3% year-on-year in June 2025, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) announced on Monday.
According to the data, the mining and quarrying sector rose by 2.3%, manufacturing jumped 9.5%, while the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply sector fell 1.1% compared to the same month last year.
On a monthly basis, industrial production increased by 0.7% compared with May 2025. The breakdown showed mining and quarrying down 5.0%, manufacturing up 0.9%, and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply up 1.9%.
Industrial production is considered a key indicator of economic growth, reflecting the performance of manufacturing, mining, and utilities sectors. (ILKHA)
