The Turkish Statistical Institute reported on Wednesday that the total turnover index, encompassing the industry, construction, trade, and services sectors, increased by 41.2% on an annual basis in October.
Breaking down the total turnover index, the industry sector saw a 29.5% increase, the construction sector experienced a 63.7% rise, trade increased by 42.3%, and the services sector grew by 51.7% compared to the same month in the previous year.
On a monthly basis, the total turnover index increased by 1.3% in October 2024. Within this period, the industry sector increased by 1.1%, the construction sector slightly decreased by 0.1%, trade rose by 0.9%, and the services sector saw a notable increase of 3.6%. (ILKHA)
