Türkiye’s total turnover surges 32.7% annually in April

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) announced on Monday that Türkiye’s total turnover index, encompassing industry, construction, trade, and services sectors, rose by a robust 32.7% year-on-year in April.
Breaking down the annual figures, the services sector led with a 42.1% increase, followed closely by construction at 41.0%. The trade sector saw a 34.6% rise, while industry grew by 22.7%.
On a monthly basis, the total turnover index edged up by 0.8% in April 2025. The services sector again outperformed, climbing 7.0%, while trade and construction saw modest gains of 0.3% and 0.4%, respectively. The industry sector, however, dipped by 1.6% compared to March 2025.
These figures highlight sustained economic activity across key sectors, with services and construction driving significant growth, according to TurkStat’s latest statement. (ILKHA)
