11 PKK/YPG members were neutralized in the area of the Operation Olive Branch in northern Syria, Turkey’s Defense Ministry said in a statement on Friday.
“In the operations following the martyrdom of our fellow soldier specialist sergeant Mehmet Altun, 11 more PKK/YPG members were neutralized. So, the number of killed terrorist has risen to 17,” the statement said.
Operation Olive Branch was a cross-border military operation conducted by the Turkish Armed Forces and Turkish-backed Free Syrian Army (TFSA) in the majority-Kurdish Afrin District of northwest Syria. (ILKHA)
