A 4.0 magnitude earthquake struck the Akhisar district of Manisa province in western Türkiye on Tuesday, according to the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD).
The earthquake occurred at approximately 14:22 Turkish Standard Time (TSI), with its epicenter located at a latitude of 38.95083 degrees north and a longitude of 27.7175 degrees east. The quake occurred at a depth of 17.73 kilometers.
No immediate reports of damage or casualties have been issued as authorities continue to assess the situation. (ILKHA)
