A 4.5 magnitude earthquake struck the Aegean Sea on Wednesday morning, according to Türkiye's Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD).
The tremor originated approximately 7 kilometers below the seabed, with the epicenter located 45 kilometers off the coast of Izmir's Karaburun district.
AFAD reported no immediate negative consequences from the earthquake. Field teams are currently assessing the situation. (ILKHA)
