Invitation Movement unites Diyarbakır youth in Islamic celebration

The Invitation and Youth Movement (Davet ve Gençlik Hareketi) continues to inspire and unite the community with its vibrant open-air events, bringing together young people and families in Diyarbakır’s Bağlar district for a spiritually enriching program at Koşuyolu Park.
Under the uplifting slogan “Revival with Islam, Rise with Youth,” the movement’s latest gathering fostered a sense of unity, faith, and joy among participants, reinforcing the power of Islamic values in nurturing the next generation.
The event, held amidst the summer season’s warmth, drew a large crowd of families and children, who were captivated by a program blending spiritual depth with engaging performances. Following a successful event in Sümer Park in Yenişehir district, the movement’s Koşuyolu Park gathering created a serene and joyful atmosphere, showcasing the beauty of Islamic teachings through Qur’an recitations, nasheeds, talks, theatrical plays, and raffles.
The evening commenced with a soul-stirring recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Cebrail Dedeoğlu, the esteemed Imam of Kurşunlu Mosque, setting a reflective tone for the event. Fatih Varol, representing the Invitation and Youth Movement, delivered a heartfelt speech, underscoring the movement’s mission to connect young people with the timeless values of Islam, fostering a generation rooted in faith and purpose.
The program continued with inspiring performances, including children reciting hadiths and Qur’anic verses, captivating theatrical plays, and soulful nasheed sessions that resonated with attendees.
