Adana readies for Grand Mawlid Celebration with streets alive in love for the Prophet

The city of Adana is witnessing an outpouring of love and devotion as preparations intensify for the much-anticipated Mawlid al-Nabi celebration organized by the Prophet’s Lovers Foundation, scheduled for Sunday, April 27.
After a long hiatus, the return of this blessed gathering has sparked great excitement across the city. Streets, avenues, and neighborhoods—particularly those home to large numbers of muhajir residents—have come alive with vibrant visuals and community spirit. Banners, flyers, posters, and brochures in Arabic and Turkish are blanketing the city, carrying messages of love and reverence for the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
In a citywide mobilization, major billboards at key traffic junctions have also been transformed to reflect the spirit of Mawlid. From leafleting campaigns to grassroots organizing, the people of Adana are working tirelessly to honor the birth of the beloved Prophet and share his mercy-filled message with all.
Organizers say preparations are reaching their final stages as volunteers continue their efforts to turn Sunday’s event into a powerful manifestation of faith, unity, and longing for the Messenger of Allah.
With hearts ignited by love and reverence, Adana is poised to echo the name of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through its streets—proclaiming a timeless message of light and guidance in these challenging times. (ILKHA)
