Erdogan to visit Malaysia, Indonesia, and Pakistan next week

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is set to embark on an official visit to Malaysia, Indonesia, and Pakistan next week, the country’s communications director announced on Saturday.
According to Fahrettin Altun, Erdogan’s visit will take place from February 10 to 13 at the invitation of the leaders of the three nations.
During the trip, Erdogan will hold high-level meetings to discuss bilateral relations and explore ways to enhance cooperation through concrete projects, Altun stated on social media platform X.
Following his visit to Malaysia, the Turkish president will co-chair High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council meetings in Indonesia and Pakistan, further strengthening diplomatic and economic ties.
The visits are expected to yield several agreements in various sectors to reinforce the legal framework of bilateral relations. Additionally, Erdogan will meet with business leaders in the host countries to promote economic collaboration.
Key regional and global issues—with a special focus on the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza—will also be on the agenda during Erdogan’s discussions with leaders, Altun added.
This diplomatic tour underscores Türkiye’s commitment to strengthening ties with key partners in Asia while addressing pressing international issues. (ILKHA)
