The ongoing Israeli aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip has reached catastrophic levels, with over 45,000 innocent civilians, including women and children, tragically losing their lives.
The brutal assault has left a trail of destruction, with hospitals, schools, and vital infrastructure reduced to rubble. Despite facing immense hardship and suffering, the resilient people of Gaza continue their unwavering resistance against the Israeli occupation.
Speaking to ILKHA, Ma'mon Hasan Qafisheh, a senior Hamas official, emphasized the critical role of global solidarity in supporting the Palestinian cause.
Unyielding Resistance in the Face of Aggression
“The morale and motivation of the mujahideen are higher than ever, even in the face of the enemy’s attempts to weaken us. Every operation carried out by our brothers sends a clear message of resilience and determination,” Qafisheh said, affirming that the resistance in Gaza is growing stronger each day.
Catastrophic Humanitarian Situation
Qafisheh painted a grim picture of life under the ongoing blockade, which has left Gaza’s infrastructure in ruins. The lack of electricity, clean water, and basic necessities has plunged the region into a humanitarian crisis. "Hunger and malnutrition are increasing, particularly among children," he said. "Families are being displaced repeatedly, some more than ten times, as they flee relentless bombings."
The blockade has severely restricted the flow of essential goods into Gaza, reducing supplies to mere survival levels. Despite this, Qafisheh stressed that the people of Gaza remain steadfast in their struggle for freedom and dignity.
The Power of Boycott
Highlighting the role of Muslims globally, Qafisheh underscored the significance of keeping Palestine at the center of their lives. “Boycotting products and companies that support the Zionist regime is a powerful, peaceful tool. Look at the closure of Carrefour branches in Jordan as an example of how impactful this method can be.”
He urged Muslims to view the boycott as a collective responsibility, emphasizing its effectiveness in weakening the Zionist economy and demonstrating global solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
Strength in Leadership and Unity
Referring to the martyrdom of Palestinian leaders like Yahya Sinwar, Qafisheh said such losses only bolster the resolve of the resistance. “The enemy thought our spirit would falter, but instead, we have drawn strength from our martyrs, much like the perseverance shown by the Companions of the Prophet (PBUH) after his passing. The struggle must continue with even greater determination.”
Aid Reaching Gaza Despite Challenges
Addressing rumors that international aid is not reaching Gaza, Qafisheh dismissed these claims as deliberate misinformation spread by the Zionists to discourage donors. "We assure you that all aid, whether in cash or kind, is being delivered to those in need. The enemy seeks to undermine our supporters’ morale, but our resistance continues, and your contributions are making a difference."
A Call for Continued Support
Qafisheh concluded by reiterating the need for unwavering solidarity with Gaza. “Our brothers and sisters are enduring unimaginable hardships, but their resilience is unshaken. It is our duty to stand with them, support them, and amplify their struggle for justice and liberation.”
The plight of Gaza remains a stark reminder of the urgent need for global action and solidarity in the face of Israeli brutality. (ILKHA)
