Hope Caravan Foundation launches charity bazaar in Şanlıurfa to support needy families

The Hope Caravan Foundation (Umut Kervanı Vakfı) has opened a charity bazaar in Şanlıurfa to provide assistance to needy and orphaned families.
The event, which began on September 25, will run until September 29 in Balıklıgöl Haleplibahçe Park, opposite the El Ruha Hotel.
The bazaar features a variety of food and goods for sale, with proceeds directed entirely toward helping impoverished and orphaned households. Visitors will find traditional dishes such as lahmacun, sarma, baklava, stuffed meatballs, köfte, and tantuni, alongside glassware and clothing. A highlight of the event is hot künefe, which will be served daily between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
Mahmut Çelik, President of Hope Caravan’s Şanlıurfa branch, emphasized the spirit of solidarity that the event embodies. “Our bazaar, organized for the benefit of poor and orphaned families, has started today. May Allah be pleased with the benefactors who support us—we will deliver their charity to the families most in need,” he said. “We invite all the people of Urfa to join us. We will be here for five days, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and we hope to see all our volunteers, members, and the entire community.”
Organizers are encouraging citizens to attend under the motto: “May your spending give hope to the poor.”
The charity fair aims not only to raise funds but also to strengthen the culture of giving, reminding the community of the importance of supporting orphans and disadvantaged families in Şanlıurfa. (ILKHA)
