HÜDA PAR condemns CHP for removing Ismail Haniyeh poster in Gaziantep

Şahzade Demir, Deputy Chairman of HÜDA PAR and MP for Gaziantep, has condemned the actions of the Republican People's Party (CHP) following the removal of a poster dedicated to the late Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas Political Bureau.
The poster, displayed by the Jerusalem Platform, a coalition of non-governmental organizations in Gaziantep, was recently taken down and discarded by a CHP group at 15 July Square.
In a statement, Demir accused CHP supporters of being aligned with what he termed "genocidal Zionism," asserting that their actions reflect a broader hostility towards Islamic values and sensitivities. “CHP supporters of genocidal Zionism are back on stage in Gaziantep!” Demir declared.
He criticized the CHP for removing the poster, which he claimed represented the Islamic values and stance of Haniyeh. “The poster of Martyr Ismail Haniyeh, which was hanging in our Şahinbey district, was taken down by CHP Gaziantep MPs, CHP Şehitkamil Mayor, Şahinbey Municipality Assembly CHP Group Deputy Chairman Hasan Şencan, and his group,” Demir said. “How dare this mentality, which is the gendarme of Zionism, disrespect the values of our society and our martyrs?”
Demir further condemned the CHP’s history of opposing spiritual values in Türkiye and reiterated his stance against Zionism. “The CHP, whose history is full of darkness, has once again shown its dark side. It should not be forgotten that these lands will never give way to Zionism and its supporters,” he concluded. (ILKHA)
