HÜDA PAR urges urgent Islamic military force to defend Gaza

Hüseyin İmir, HÜDA PAR’s Head of Foreign Relations, has fiercely denounced Israel’s declared intention to fully occupy Gaza, labeling it a critical “historic turning point” that demands immediate action from the Islamic world to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
In a powerful statement on Friday, İmir condemned Israel’s plan as the culmination of a deliberate and brutal campaign to crush Palestinian resistance. “Israel’s systematic aggression—mercilessly bombing civilian homes, blocking essential humanitarian aid, weaponizing starvation, and now plotting to completely occupy Gaza—is a calculated assault on the Palestinian people, emboldened by the silence of regional governments and the inaction of Islamic institutions,” he declared.
İmir passionately defended the Palestinian resistance, particularly Hamas, against efforts to disarm them, calling such moves “a disgrace to the Islamic world.” He praised the resilience of Gaza’s people, whose honor and survival, he said, are sustained by the courage of resistance fighters standing firm against Israel’s relentless occupation. “Those who target the resistance instead of confronting the occupiers are complicit in Israel’s crimes,” İmir warned, urging unwavering support for Palestine’s defenders.
Rejecting empty rhetoric, İmir called for decisive, collective action to protect Gaza and halt Israel’s aggression. He urged the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to convene immediately and authorize a joint Islamic military force to safeguard Gaza’s civilians and counter Israel’s occupation plans. “Words are no longer enough. The Islamic world must act now with concrete, effective measures. If the OIC fails to stand with Palestine, the entire ummah will bear the weight of this betrayal,” he cautioned.
Israel’s latest move to occupy Gaza comes amid its ongoing devastating assaults, which have destroyed civilian infrastructure and plunged the enclave into a humanitarian catastrophe. The escalation threatens to ignite further conflict across the region, including in Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and Iran.
HÜDA PAR, a staunchly pro-Palestinian political movement in Türkiye, has long advocated for Muslim-majority nations to unite in defense of Palestinian rights and to actively resist Israel’s aggression. İmir’s statement reflects a growing call for solidarity and action to uphold justice for Palestine. (ILKHA)
