Kazakh President Tokayev to visit Türkiye

Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will pay an official visit to Türkiye on 28–29 July 2025 at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Turkish presidency announced in a statement on Monday.
The visit will mark the fifth meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council between the two countries, to be held at the Presidential Complex in Ankara.
According to the statement, talks will focus on reviewing the progress of the “Enhanced Strategic Partnership” and exploring new avenues to further deepen bilateral cooperation. Leaders are also expected to exchange views on pressing global and regional developments.
In addition to political discussions, the visit is expected to see the signing of a series of agreements aimed at strengthening the legal framework underpinning Türkiye–Kazakhstan relations.
The meetings are anticipated to reinforce the strategic alliance between the two nations, with a focus on advancing economic, political, and cultural ties in the coming period. (ILKHA)
