34 people have died from coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours in Turkey, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 4,431, said Fahrettin Koca, Turkish Health Minister, on his Twitter account on Wednesday.
Turkey has so far reported 159,797 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of 1,035 cases in the last 24 hours.
122,793 patients suffering from the disease have fully recovered from the infection and been discharged from hospital.
While 723 patients are being treated in intensive care unit, there are some 331 patients who are mechanically ventilated.
A total of 1,894,650 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted in the country. (ILKHA)
