Turkey’s Presidential Cabinet will convene at 15:00 on Monday under President Erdoğan's chairmanship at the Presidential Complex in Ankara.
The escalating row with the Western countries, which broke out after Erdoğan instructed the Turkish foreign minister to declare ambassadors of 10 countries to Turkey persona non grata after their statement calling for the release of Osman Kavala, are set to be the top of the agenda at the meeting.
The preparations for the G20 Leaders' Summit to be held in Rome, the capital of Italy, at the end of this month will also be discussed at the cabinet meeting.
The current dramatic rise in commodity prices in Turkey will be at the top of the agenda during the meeting, according to the Turkish Presidency.
The recommendations put forth by Coronavirus Scientific Advisory Board will also be discussed at the meeting.
At the meeting, the ongoing operations of the Turkish armed forces within the country and outside the border, as well as economic developments, will be evaluated.
The main items of the domestic and foreign agenda, especially the recent developments in Afghanistan, will also be at the table.
