A senior Turkish Foreign Ministry official revealed that the exchange between the two ministers focused on Ukraine’s battlefield dynamics and regional security challenges. Both ministers underscored the importance of continuous collaboration to tackle these issues effectively.
Foreign Minister Fidan and his Ukrainian counterpart Sybiha, who held a joint press conference in Ankara on October 21, 2024, reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships and fostering coordinated efforts.
Minister Sybiha commented on the discussion, stating, “During today’s call with my colleague and friend Hakan Fidan, we discussed our bilateral agenda, the situation on the battlefield, security in the Black Sea, the situation in Syria, and the Middle East.
