The Orphans Foundation continues its humanitarian efforts in Gaza, providing vital aid to Palestinians affected by the ongoing Israeli aggression, which began on October 7, 2023.
The Foundation has been actively involved in delivering aid to Gaza, including food, medical supplies, and shelter to those displaced by the aggression. A team of medical professionals from the Foundation has been providing essential healthcare services to the beleaguered population, addressing critical medical needs in a region grappling with widespread destruction.
Dr. Ömer Faruk Aydoğan, a General Surgery Specialist with the Orphans Foundation team in Gaza, highlighted the ongoing challenges faced by the Palestinian people. "We will distribute 195 blankets and 75 tent covers in the first Palestine Camp," Dr. Aydoğan said, emphasizing the urgent need for continued support. "I hope it will be useful in healing the wounds to some extent."
Dr. Aydoğan also stressed the urgent need for footwear, stating, "You see that children have no shoes and socks on their feet. Inshallah, we will organize a shoe and sock campaign for our brothers in Gaza in the near future. We expect the support of all our brothers and sisters in Türkiye."
The Orphans Foundation continues to appeal for donations from the Turkish public to support their ongoing humanitarian efforts in Gaza. (ILKHA)
