The Turkish Coast Guard has successfully rescued 21 irregular migrants, including 15 children, who were pushed back to Turkish territorial waters by Greek authorities.
The migrants were brought ashore and subsequently transferred to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management for further processing.
This incident highlights the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the Aegean Sea, as Greek authorities continue to employ pushback tactics to deter migrants from reaching European shores.
Such actions violate international law and endanger the lives of vulnerable individuals, including women and children. (ILKHA)
