Turkish Competition Authority has launched an investigation against Google over allegations of abusing its dominant position in the market.
The decision was made based on preliminary findings that indicate potential violations of Article 6 of Law No. 4054.
The investigation targets several companies within the Google umbrella, including Alphabet Inc., Google LLC, Google International LLC, Google Ireland Limited, and Google Advertising and Marketing Ltd.
The authorities deemed the evidence gathered during the preliminary investigation serious and sufficient to warrant further examination.
This move signals a significant step in addressing concerns about competition practices in the general search services market. (ILKHA)
