The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced on Monday that nine members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and its Syrian affiliate, the People's Protection Units (YPG), were neutralized in operations conducted in northern Iraq and Syria.
Eight PKK militants were eliminated in the ongoing Operation Claw-Lock in northern Iraq and the Qandil region, while one YPG fighter was neutralized in the Euphrates Shield region of northern Syria.
The ministry reiterated Türkiye's commitment to combating terrorism and vowed to continue its operations until all threats are eliminated. (ILKHA)
