Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has extended his congratulations to Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko on his recent election victory, according to a statement from the Belarusian leader’s press service.
In his message, Erdogan expressed confidence that the existing cooperation between Türkiye and Belarus in political, economic, and humanitarian fields would continue to strengthen through mutual efforts in the coming period.
"I am convinced that the existing cooperation between our countries in the political, economic, and humanitarian spheres will be further strengthened in the coming period thanks to our joint efforts. I take this opportunity to once again express my wishes of health and happiness to Your Excellency, and prosperity and well-being to the friendly Belarusian people," Erdogan stated.
The Turkish president also wished Lukashenko continued success in his leadership.
The congratulatory message underscores the ongoing diplomatic ties between Ankara and Minsk as both nations seek to enhance bilateral relations. (ILKHA)
