Türkiye condemns deadly terrorist attack in Pakistan’s Balochistan province

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned a deadly terrorist attack that struck Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province on Tuesday, claiming the lives of several people, including children, and injuring many more.
In a written statement released on Wednesday, the Ministry expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of life and extended condolences to the people of Pakistan.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of lives, including children, and the many injuries caused by the terrorist attack that took place today in Pakistan's Balochistan province,” the statement read.
The Foreign Ministry offered prayers for the victims and wished a swift recovery to the wounded, saying: “We condemn this heinous attack, wish Allah's mercy upon those who lost their lives, and a speedy recovery to the injured.”
Reaffirming Ankara’s unwavering position against terrorism, the Ministry emphasized the need for enhanced regional cooperation in countering extremist violence.
“Türkiye reiterates its principled stance against all forms and manifestations of terrorism and emphasizes the importance of cooperation in counter-terrorism efforts in South Asia,” it added.
The attack in Balochistan marks the latest in a series of deadly assaults in the restive province, which has long witnessed insurgent activity and targeted violence.
Türkiye and Pakistan maintain strong bilateral ties, and Ankara has consistently expressed solidarity with Islamabad in its fight against terrorism. (ILKHA)
