Yapıcıoğlu: Perpetrators of Zakho attack must be held to account

HÜDA PAR Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu condemned the attack in which 9 people were killed in the city of Zaho in Iraqi Kurdistan, calling all sides to do their part to reveal the truth in all its aspects.
“I wish Allah's mercy upon those who lost their lives in the attack and wish injured people a quick recovery,” Yapıcıoğlu told Ilke News Agency.
Describing the attack as a grave and abhorrent incident, Yapıcıoğlu noted that there are various allegations about the perpetrators of the attack.
“The perpetrators of the attack must be held to account, whoever they are,” Yapıcıoğlu said.
On Wednesday, the Barakh tourist resort in the Zakho District of Kurdistan Region, Iraq was shelled by four or five artillery strikes.
The attack killed at least nine civilians, including two children, and injured more than 22. Most of the victims were Iraqi Arab tourists. (ILKHA)
