Turkiye’s first mini satellite Grizu-263A, which launched into space by SpaceX’s Falcon 9 on Thursday, has emitted its first signals, its developer announced.
“Pride! We designed, manufactured, tested and sent into space. Now our satellite, Grizu-263A, is at work!” Grizu-263 Space Team captain, Cagla Aytac Dursun, said in a tweet.

The Grizu-263 Space Team, which was established in 2016 by engineering students from Zonguldak Bulent Ecevit University in northern Turkiye, is working on space and satellite technologies.
The pocketqube satellite Grizu-263A, 5x5x5 cm in size and 250 grams in weight, product by the Grizu-263 Space Team, is monitored by Turkish Amateur Satellite Technologies Organization (AMSAT-TR).
Grizu-263A have been placed in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) with SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket through Alba Orbital and Momentus companies. (ILKHA)
