The Hope Caravan Foundation, a humanitarian aid organization, has successfully delivered essential supplies to hundreds of families in the beleaguered city of Homs, Syria.
This initiative marks another chapter in their ongoing efforts across various Syrian cities, following similar campaigns in Idlib and Hama.
In collaboration with European Orphans' Hand, IHO Ebrar, and the Orphans' Foundation, the teams have provided food, bread, and fuel to residents of Homs, a city deeply scarred by the Syrian civil war.
Erdal Elibüyük, Vice President of the Hope Caravan Foundation, emphasized the urgency of the situation during a statement on the ground: "We are in Homs, one of the biggest cities of Syria. We are distributing bread, food, and fuel at the same time. This city has witnessed some of the most horrific massacres and deaths since the war began. There is a desperate need for all types of fuel, food, clothing, and necessities. We will continue our aid here as we have done before, and I want to reiterate the immense responsibility that falls on our philanthropists and donors."
The combined effort of these organizations underscores a critical humanitarian response in one of the conflict's hardest-hit areas, aiming to alleviate some of the suffering endured by Homs' residents amidst ongoing turmoil.
This latest aid distribution in Homs is part of a broader campaign to support the Syrian population, focusing on the most affected regions to provide immediate relief and sustenance. The Hope Caravan Foundation and its partners remain committed to their mission, calling on continued support from the international community to sustain their vital work in Syria. (ILKHA)
