At least 13 people were killed and more than 50 others injured as a passenger train derailed on the Tabas-Yazd railroad track in Iran’s eastern South Khorasan province.
The accident took place near Mazino Station at 5:30 a.m. (local time) on Wednesday.
Mashhad-Yazd train was carrying 348 passengers when its three wagons went off track, an Iranian official said.
The injured have been dispatched to the hospital for treatment. (ILKHA)
