47 Palestinians martyred, 142 injured in Israeli aggression on Gaza in 24 hours

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported on Friday that Israeli occupation forces killed 47 Palestinians and injured 142 others across the Gaza Strip in just 24 hours, marking yet another escalation in the ongoing genocidal assault on the besieged territory.
Among the casualties, five martyrs and 33 injuries occurred while Palestinians were seeking humanitarian aid, underscoring Israel’s systematic targeting of civilians attempting to survive under extreme conditions. The ministry confirmed that the total number of aid seekers killed in such attacks has now reached 2,543, with over 18,614 wounded.
Since the Israeli occupation reneged on the ceasefire on March 18, 2025, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reports that 12,956 Palestinians have been martyred and 55,477 injured. The overall toll of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has now risen to 65,549 martyrs and 167,518 wounded, with many more missing under the rubble.
Civil defense and ambulance teams continue their heroic efforts to reach survivors trapped beneath debris, facing constant risk from ongoing Israeli bombardments. The ministry warned that many victims remain inaccessible due to blocked roads and continuous air and artillery strikes.
This latest surge in violence highlights Israel’s deliberate targeting of civilians, humanitarian corridors, and essential infrastructure, deepening the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza. International human rights organizations have repeatedly condemned the attacks, calling for immediate intervention to protect Palestinian lives and hold Israel accountable.
The Gaza Ministry of Health reaffirmed that despite the extreme conditions and continuous aggression, the Palestinian people remain steadfast in their resistance, courage, and determination to survive amid one of the most prolonged and brutal sieges in modern history. (ILKHA)
