A sightseeing plane crashed about eight miles northeast of Ketchikan, Alaska, killing all six people on board, the U.S. Coast Guard said in a statement.
“An MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Sitka located the wreckage at 2:37 p.m. and lowered two rescue swimmers who reported no survivors,” the statement said.
“One pilot and five passengers were reportedly aboard the aircraft owned by Southeast Aviation LLC,” The statement added. (ILKHA)
