The Health Ministry in Gaza reported on Sunday that Israeli occupation forces committed five massacres across the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, resulting in the deaths of at least 88 Palestinians and injuring 208 others.

The Ministry's statement confirmed that the ongoing Israeli aggression has brought the death toll in Gaza to 45,805, with the number of injured reaching 109,064 since the escalation began on October 7, 2023.

"A number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews have been prevented by the Israeli occupation forces from reaching them," the Health Ministry highlighted.

The inability to access affected areas has exacerbated the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where rescue operations and medical aid are being severely hampered.

The latest figures come amid ongoing violence and international calls for a ceasefire. The death toll reflects the devastating impact of continued airstrikes and ground operations in densely populated civilian areas, further worsening the plight of residents in Gaza.
