Abu Obeida, the spokesman of Hamas’s armed wing the Al-Qassam Brigades, said that “what the Zionist enemy carried out in the Nuseirat area in central Gaza Strip is a complex war crime, and the first to be harmed by it were its prisoners.”
He added in a tweet on Saturday evening, “By committing horrific massacres, the enemy was able to free some of his prisoners, but at the same time, killed some of them during the operation.”
“The operation will pose a great danger on the enemy’s prisoners and will have a negative impact on their conditions and lives,” the Al-Qassam spokesman underlined.
The Government Media Office in Gaza had earlier said that Israel’s massacre in Nuseirat refugee camp, during which it managed to release four of its captives, had resulted in 210 Palestinian martyrs and more than 400 wounded.
The bodies of martyrs and the wounded, mostly women and children, have crammed the Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. (ILKHA)
