Afghan health minister meets Qatari diplomat to discuss major hospital project in Kandahar

Mawlavi Noor Jalal Jalali, the Acting Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, held a meeting with the Chargé d’Affaires of the State of Qatar to discuss enhanced cooperation in the field of healthcare.
A key highlight of the meeting was the planned construction of a 400-bed hospital in Kandahar, a major development expected to significantly boost the region’s healthcare capacity and service delivery.
During the meeting, Minister Jalali expressed his deep appreciation for Qatar’s ongoing support for Afghanistan’s health sector.
