Afghanistan showcases carpets at prestigious international EXPO in Istanbul
The Afghan carpet industry is making its mark on the global stage with participation in the prestigious "Carpet and Flooring EXPO 2025" in Istanbul, Türkiye.
The exhibition, which opened recently, features products from 19 countries, showcasing the diversity and artistry of global carpet production. Eight Afghan companies are actively participating, displaying their exquisite handmade and machine-made carpets across 227 square meters of exhibition space.
The Afghan delegation includes representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Afghan Consul General in Istanbul, and the Afghan Trade Attaché in Türkiye.
This significant event provides a valuable platform for Afghan carpet producers to connect with international buyers, explore new markets, and enhance their global reach. (ILKHA)
