Al-Quds Brigades foil Israeli special forces infiltration in southern Gaza

The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, announced that its fighters successfully thwarted an Israeli special forces infiltration attempt in southern Gaza, underscoring the resistance’s vigilance and readiness in the face of continuous enemy operations.
A senior commander of the Al-Quds Brigades confirmed to Al Jazeera on Monday that resistance fighters uncovered and disrupted an imminent security operation south of Gaza City. “The vigilance of our fighters foiled an imminent security operation. The enemy’s ongoing criminal efforts will always be met with great vigilance, and our fingers remain on the trigger,” he declared.
According to the commander, resistance fighters seized military equipment left behind by the infiltrating force. Some of the captured materials have already been documented, while other sensitive evidence is being withheld for security purposes.
He added that resistance units remain engaged in constant and complex security operations along Gaza’s borders, continuously adapting to and exposing Israeli tactics. “We detected new enemy security methods, which we will expose with documents and evidence at the appropriate time,” he said, stressing that the occupation’s plans will never go unanswered.
Since the outbreak of Israel’s latest aggression on October 27, 2023, Palestinian resistance factions have consistently documented successful operations targeting occupation soldiers, military vehicles, and bases across multiple fronts. These operations, widely circulated on resistance media channels, have highlighted the resilience of Gaza’s fighters and their ability to counter Israeli attempts to infiltrate and destabilize the Strip.
The thwarting of the latest infiltration marks yet another failure for Israeli special forces, who have faced strong resistance and heavy losses throughout their ongoing assault on Gaza. (ILKHA)
