In a late-night airstrike on Thursday, at least 27 civilians, including children and women, were killed and several others injured in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.
The Israeli attack targeted a home belonging to the al-Mubhouh family near the Abu Hussein School, with many victims still trapped under debris as rescue efforts continue.
Local sources reported a significant toll from the bombing, which also left multiple individuals injured. First responders are facing challenges in reaching survivors under the rubble as they work against time to locate and aid trapped civilians.
In a separate strike, an Israeli air raid on Al-Manshiya Street in Beit Lahia claimed the life of one civilian and left others injured, marking another incident in the continued escalation of violence in northern Gaza.
Since the start of Israel’s intensified military operations on October 7, 2023, over 43,000 people have been killed, and more than 102,000 have been injured in Gaza. Thousands remain missing—either buried beneath the rubble or unreachable due to ongoing strikes and immense structural damage throughout the region. Rescue teams continue to face severe obstacles, struggling to reach victims amid heavy bombardment and widespread destruction. (ILKHA)
