Death toll in Gaza’s genocide climbs to 63,633

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Tuesday morning that hospitals across the besieged Strip received the bodies of at least 76 martyrs in the past 24 hours, alongside 281 wounded, following yet another wave of Israeli bombardments that continue to devastate civilian areas.
According to the ministry, the ongoing genocidal assault, which Israel resumed on March 18, 2025, has claimed the lives of 11,502 Palestinians and left 48,900 injured in less than six months. Since the start of Israel’s war of extermination on October 7, 2023, the cumulative death toll has now climbed to 63,633 martyrs, including 2,306 Palestinians killed while seeking humanitarian aid.
The total number of wounded has also reached a staggering 160,914, including 16,929 aid seekers, reflecting the catastrophic toll on Gaza’s besieged population.
In addition to the relentless airstrikes and shelling, the health ministry confirmed that the blockade-induced famine continues to claim lives. Thirteen Palestinians, including three children, died in the past 24 hours from starvation and malnutrition, raising the total famine-related death toll to 361, of whom 130 were children.
Medical staff, working under impossible conditions due to the collapse of Gaza’s health system, warn that the number of martyrs is expected to rise further as bodies remain trapped beneath the rubble in multiple areas targeted by Israeli airstrikes. Ambulance and civil defense teams continue search-and-rescue efforts despite severe shortages of fuel, equipment, and medical supplies.
Humanitarian organizations have repeatedly warned that Gaza is facing both a military onslaught and a man-made famine, as Israel continues to weaponize food, water, and medicine against the besieged enclave’s civilian population.
Despite mounting international condemnation, Israel’s campaign has shown no sign of relenting, with Gaza’s health ministry stressing that the Strip is enduring one of the darkest chapters of modern history — a genocide unfolding in full view of the world. (ILKHA)
