The Israeli occupation army has continued its assault on the Gaza Strip for the 436th consecutive day, targeting various areas and causing significant civilian casualties.
The ongoing aggression has led to catastrophic humanitarian suffering for over two million Palestinians, half of whom are children.
Local sources reported on Sunday that the Israeli army carried out attacks on several homes, civilian targets, and shelter centers in different areas of Gaza over the past 24 hours, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries.
The large-scale campaign in northern Gaza, particularly in Jabalia and Beit Lahia, has entered its 72nd day. Israeli forces have been intensively bombing homes and shelters, attacking civilians, and imposing a tight siege on the area. Deliberate attacks on ambulance and civil defense workers have left northern Gaza without rescue services.
Local sources confirmed that two people were martyred and others injured in an Israeli strike on the ash-Shuja’iya neighborhood in the east of Gaza City. Additionally, two young men succumbed to critical injuries sustained in an airstrike on their tire repair shop in the az-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
The civil defense service reported that one of its rescue crews recovered the bodies of four martyrs and pulled wounded individuals from the rubble following an Israeli strike on a house in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City.
In southern Gaza, an Israeli drone attack in the east of Rafah killed two citizens. An Israeli warplane also bombed a motorcycle in the al-Amal neighborhood in western Khan Yunis, killing two civilians and injuring others.
In central Gaza, four people were seriously injured when the Israeli army bombed a house in the new camp in an-Nuseirat. Additionally, a tent sheltering a family in Deir al-Balah was bombed, injuring eight people.
In northern Gaza, an Israeli artillery attack on as-Sultan Abdul-Hamid street in Beit Hanoun killed a family of four and injured others. Several casualties, including two martyrs, were reported following an attack near the Kamal Adwan Hospital.
Israeli forces also bombarded and stormed a school sheltering displaced families in Ezbet Beit Hanoun, resulting in over 15 deaths and numerous injuries. During the attack, the Israeli army forced families to leave the facility and kidnapped young men.
The health ministry in Gaza reported that the Israeli army committed five massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, killing and injuring at least 181 civilians. Many victims remain under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads. (ILKHA)
