Gaza death toll nears 63,000 as Israel escalates genocidal war

The Ministry of Health in Gaza has reported that the death toll from Israel’s ongoing aggression has risen to 62,966 martyrs, the vast majority of them women and children, since the start of the genocidal assault in October 2023.
At least 159,266 others have been injured, many with life-altering wounds, as the Strip remains under siege and bombardment.
Medical sources confirmed that since March 18, 2025—when Israel broke its ceasefire agreement and resumed its onslaught—at least 11,121 civilians have been killed and 47,225 others wounded in just over five months of renewed attacks.
In the last 24 hours alone, Gaza’s hospitals received 71 bodies and 339 injured Palestinians, underscoring the relentless pace of the massacres. Officials warned that the figures remain incomplete, as countless victims are still buried beneath rubble in areas rescue teams cannot reach due to the continued bombardment and blockade on humanitarian operations.
The Palestinian Health Ministry has repeatedly appealed to the international community to intervene and halt what it calls a systematic genocide aimed at wiping out Gaza’s population. Yet, despite global outcry, Israel continues to target homes, schools, and shelters, pushing the enclave deeper into an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe. (ILKHA)
