Hamas, the Palestinian resistance group, has issued a strong response following the assassination of Saleh al-Arouri, the deputy head of its political bureau, in an israeli airstrike on Beirut.

Ezzat Al-Resheq, a member of the Hamas political bureau, condemned the "cowardly assassinations" carried out by the zionist occupation against Palestinian leaders and symbols.

Al-Resheq emphasized that these assassinations would not succeed in weakening the will and steadfastness of the Palestinian people or undermining their valiant resistance. 

The Hamas representative stated that the assassination of Al-Arouri demonstrates the enemy's failure to achieve any of its objectives in Gaza. Despite facing continued attacks, the Palestinian people remain resolute in their commitment to resistance against the Israeli occupation.
