At least five laborers lost their lives, and around 15 others sustained injuries when an under-construction slab collapsed inside a cement factory in Amaanganj town, Panna district, on Thursday.
According to local police, the incident occurred while construction work was underway at the site. The injured workers were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Rescue operations are ongoing as authorities work to locate and extract any individuals still trapped beneath the debris.
Further investigations are being conducted to determine the cause of the collapse. (ILKHA)
