Iran, Egypt call for unified Islamic stance against Israeli aggression

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has urged the Islamic world to adopt a united and resolute stance against the aggressive actions of the Israeli regime, warning that its continued attacks on Muslim nations threaten regional security and stability.
In a phone call with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Wednesday, Pezeshkian condemned Israel’s latest assault targeting Hamas leaders in Qatar, describing it as a blatant violation of international law and a reflection of Tel Aviv’s disregard for global norms.
“The behavior of the Israeli regime shows that it adheres to no framework or rules, attacking any country at will and without consideration,” the Iranian president said, stressing that only a firm and unified stance from the Islamic community could halt such inhumane actions.
Pezeshkian thanked Egypt for its constructive role in nuclear negotiations and for facilitating dialogue aimed at achieving a comprehensive agreement between Iran and the international community. He also praised El-Sisi’s firm position against Israeli aggression and called for Muslim nations to follow the guidance of the Qur’an and the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by standing together against foreign attacks on Islamic lands.
The Iranian leader extended an invitation to President El-Sisi to visit Tehran, expressing hope that senior officials from both countries would soon meet to strengthen bilateral ties and promote unity within the Islamic world.
For his part, El-Sisi welcomed the discussion, congratulating Pezeshkian on Iran’s recent agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which he described as evidence of Tehran’s sincerity and goodwill in promoting regional peace and security.
The Egyptian president reaffirmed Cairo’s strong opposition to Israel’s attacks on Qatar and broader aggression against Muslim territories. He stressed that there is no military solution to the nuclear issue and that recent Israeli actions underscore the urgent need for collective resistance to Tel Aviv’s expansionist ambitions in the region.
