Iran unveils advanced missile arsenal, sends stern warning to Israel

Iran’s Defense Minister, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, announced that the country now possesses a new generation of advanced missiles, capable of decisively defending the Islamic Republic against any acts of aggression by Israel or its Western backers.
The announcement came during a meeting with foreign military attachés in Tehran to mark National Defense Industry Day, highlighting Iran’s self-reliant and indigenously developed defense capabilities.
Nasirzadeh commemorated the martyrs of the 12-day Israeli-imposed war on Iran, honoring commanders, scientists, men, women, and children who were targeted by Israel’s cowardly attacks. He stressed that the Zionist regime, with direct U.S. support, launched its offensive hoping to cripple Iran’s military command, but was met with a swift, precise, and devastating Iranian response.
“Iran’s retaliation was methodical and just, targeting only military objectives,” Nasirzadeh said. “Unlike the aggressor, which deliberately attacked civilians, hospitals, media centers, and residential areas, Iran struck military bases, intelligence centers, and strategic research institutions that fueled the enemy’s attacks.”
Highlighting Iran’s missile achievements, Nasirzadeh explained that systems such as Fattah, Sejjil, and Kheibar Shekan significantly altered the battlefield, ensuring the enemy could not continue its aggression. Nearly 150 designated targets were destroyed, demonstrating the precision and reliability of Iran’s defense technology.
The minister also denounced U.S. attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities as violations of international law, emphasizing that Iran responded with restraint to prevent escalation while sending a clear warning: any further aggression will be met with “deadly, decisive, and uncalculable” retaliation.
“National Defense Industry Day is a testament to Iran’s independence, resilience, and commitment to protecting its people,” Nasirzadeh stated. “Our advanced defense capabilities are both a shield and a messenger of peace, stability, and security for the region. We call on all neighboring countries to pursue dialogue, mutual respect, and cooperation for shared prosperity.”
The announcement underscores Iran’s strength in self-sufficient defense, its unwavering commitment to national sovereignty, and its readiness to safeguard the region against imperialist and Israeli threats. (ILKHA)
