Israeli airstrikes kill 37 Palestinians in Gaza, most targeted while awaiting aid

Israeli airstrikes claimed the lives of at least 37 Palestinians across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, according to local medical sources.
Among the victims were 29 civilians who were deliberately targeted while waiting in line for desperately needed humanitarian aid.
In the pre-dawn hours, Israeli warplanes launched a series of intense bombings across Gaza City and aid distribution areas south of Wadi Gaza, in central Gaza. The attacks killed at least 24 people and injured dozens more, striking some of the few remaining lifelines for a population under siege.
These latest atrocities come amid Israel’s ongoing military onslaught that began on October 7, 2023. Since then, tens of thousands of Palestinians—predominantly women and children—have been killed, with countless others buried beneath rubble. Continuous bombardments have made it nearly impossible for rescue teams to reach the wounded or recover the dead.
The besieged population faces catastrophic conditions as food, water, and medical supplies remain scarce due to Israel’s blockade. Global human rights organizations have repeatedly condemned the assault, calling it a humanitarian disaster and a blatant violation of international law.
Despite mounting international outrage, the attacks continue unabated, devastating Gaza’s civilian population and destroying its infrastructure. (ILKHA)
