At least 15 people have been killed and 30 others injured, including women and children, in a series of Israeli airstrikes on Gaza since early Sunday morning, local reports confirm.

One of the deadliest attacks occurred in the northern Gaza town of Izbat Beit Hanoun, where an airstrike targeted a tent sheltering displaced families. Multiple civilians lost their lives, and others sustained injuries in the incident.

In the neighboring city of Beit Hanoun, an Israeli artillery shell struck a residential area on Sultan Abdul Hamid Street, killing a man, his wife, and their two daughters. Several others were injured in the attack, adding to the growing toll of civilian casualties.

In Gaza City, Israeli warplanes targeted a house belonging to the Arouq family in the Abu Iskander area of the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood. The airstrike claimed several lives and caused multiple injuries.

Another deadly airstrike struck a home on Nafaq Street in central Gaza City, killing four individuals and injuring several others.

Medical sources reported that the death toll in Gaza since the previous night has risen to 15, with 30 more wounded. The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza, which began in October 2023, has led to at least 44,930 documented Palestinian fatalities and over 106,624 injuries, according to official figures.

Thousands more victims are feared trapped under rubble, as continuous airstrikes and shelling hinder emergency and civil defense teams from reaching affected areas.

The UN Security Council has called for an immediate ceasefire, and the International Court of Justice has issued directives urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza. However, Israeli operations continue unabated, drawing widespread condemnation from international organizations and still worsening the dire conditions in the besieged territory.
