Israeli occupation forces demolished a residential room in Al-Walaja village, west of Bethlehem, early Thursday.
Anwar Abu al-Teen, a member of the village council, reported that the demolition targeted a 60-square-meter room within a building owned by Hassan Mustafa Salah. According to Israeli authorities, the demolition was carried out due to a lack of proper building permits.
Al-Walaja and other areas in the West Bank have seen increased demolitions in recent months. In October alone, Israeli forces conducted 34 demolition operations affecting 45 structures, including 12 occupied homes, 6 vacant residences, and 19 agricultural or other facilities. Additionally, Israeli authorities issued demolition notices for 38 more structures, further escalating tensions in the region. (ILKHA)
