Kurdistan: At least 14 injured in Sulaymaniyah gas explosion

At least 14 people were injured after a gas leak caused an explosion in a cafeteria in Sulaymaniyah early Thursday.
The explosion occurred on the city’s Salim Street at around 1:00 am, destroying the two-story cafeteria, the local sources reported.
Four of the injured are suffering from severe wounds and are in need of surgery, officials said.
Search and rescue teams rushed to the wreckage site to search for civilians trapped under the ruins of the building.
An investigation has been launched into the incident. (ILKHA)
