Pezeshkian: U.S. strikes reveal Washington’s direct role behind Israeli aggression on Iran

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has strongly condemned the recent U.S. airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, asserting that the attacks confirm Washington’s direct involvement in hostile Israeli actions against the Islamic Republic.
Speaking during a cabinet meeting on Sunday, President Pezeshkian stated that the U.S. strikes expose the true source behind the aggression carried out by the Israeli regime. “These attacks have clearly shown that it is the United States that stands behind Israel’s hostile actions against Iran,” he said.
Pezeshkian further argued that the Israeli regime lacks the capability to act independently, and that its military aggression since June 13 has been backed — and effectively orchestrated — by Washington. “Our powerful responses to the Israeli regime’s aggression were, in reality, responses to U.S. aggression,” he said, emphasizing that Israel would not have been able to launch such attacks without U.S. support.
The president also highlighted the importance of national unity in the face of foreign threats, commending the Iranian people for their solidarity during this critical period. “The real strength of the Islamic Republic lies in the unity and resilience of our nation,” he affirmed.
Pezeshkian’s remarks come amid heightened regional tensions following U.S. and Israeli military operations targeting Iran, and reflect a firm stance by the Iranian leadership against what it views as coordinated aggression by Western and Zionist powers. (ILKHA)
